Unfortunately,
because
of the civil war in Yugoslavia, political and economical crisis caused
this
group to stop working in 1993. Former European academic champions had
to retire. But, enthusiasm did not retire with them, and they finally
managed to gather again in October 10th, 2002. to restore their fame.
Day after day, rapid arrival of new members gave great potential to
this society, and finally, after many days of hard work and trainings,
it was able to appear and prove it's quality. The first concerts of the
newly founded AKUD (acronym for Academic Cultural and Artistic Society)
took place in Greece, in the region of friendly town Kavala. So, we
begun the new history of AKUD.
